HELLA SEA HAWK-XL DUAL COLOUR

HELLA MARINE NEW DECK FLOOD LIGHTS

Professional and experienced sports fisherman, commercial operatorsand ocean racers all recognise the ‘non glare” nightvision preservation advantages of red lighting.

  • Bright white light
  • 750 Lumen output
  • Secondary colour options: Red / Blue / Warm White
  • Low power consumption (12W)
  • Multivolt 12/24V DC
  • Ultra long service life
  • Completely sealed IP67
  • 5 year warranty

Two rows of bright white light is ideal when working, docking or landing the big one, while the third row of secondary colour adds versatility. Red is perfect for preserving your night vision, blue is popular when added bling or a point of difference is needed, while warm white creates added comfort when you want to relax or match the rest of your interior lighting.

The new Sea Hawk-XL continues using the latest Hi-Tech materials. A heavy duty Grilamid lens provides exceptional impact resistance. The unique ceramic thermal polymer housing distributes heat away from internal components and avoids potential corrosion issues associated with metal housings.

MultivoltTM circuitry provides constant illumination and circuit protection from 9-33V DC, even under severe voltage fluctuations. Sea Hawk-XL lamps are prewired with 2.5m of marine cable and completely sealed for reliable operation in all applications.

Hella marine Sea Hawk lamps offer class leading energy efficiency, unmatched durability and are supported with a 5 year warranty for a total ‘fit and forget’ solution and complete peace of mind.

HELLA Release 470mm LED Light Bar

After the success of the HELLA LED Light Bar 350, HELLA is introducing the longer and brighter brother, the LED Light Bar 470. The new lamp features all the outstanding properties of the previous model plus an additional four high performance automotive standard LED’s and a maximum luminous intensity of 166,000 candela at a power consumption of only 35 watts.

Environmental, Weight and Performance

The dust and waterproof IP69 Light Bar comes in two different beam patterns – High Beam (Ref. 25 with 1 lux at approx. 330 metres) and Pencil Beam (Ref. 37.5 with 1 lux at approx. 410 metres). With only 950g weight the Light Bar is particularly popular for roof mount applications on ATV’s and Off-road vehicles.

Mounting The Lampware

The non corrosive, thermally conductive housing is highly resistant to degradation and due to its slim profile, this streamline Light Bar is ideal for applications where aerodynamic styling are a valued attribute. The flexible, adjustable mounting system ensures easy installation including the ability to “double stack” the light bar.

The Light Bar features a Multivolt™ circuit for optimum brightness at a wide range of input voltages from 9 to 33 volts and is fully road legal with ECE approval.

• 16 high performance automotive grade LEDs
• Maximum luminous intensity of 166,000 candela
• Approved for use in New Zealand and Australia
• Low power consumption
• Highly adaptable mounting system
• Thermally conductive non-metal housing
• Light weight of only 950g

hella-barhawk-470mmRevolutionary Housing Material Sets New Benchmark

Pioneering innovative lighting solutions is our passion.  HELLA’s new materials unlock luminaire performance to weight ratios never before possible. HELLA manufacture ultra-light but robust and highly durable products with benchmark light performance.

The revolutionary new plastic ceramic materials with outstanding thermal performance open a world of possibilities never thought achievable only a few years ago. The replacement of metal based housing heat-sinks with thermally conductive plastic not only opens a myriad of design options, but also means they are completely corrosion resistant…means much, much longer life of the product.

This is especially important in demanding environments of marine and 4×4 off raod conditions. The unrelenting corrosive salt laden marine environment as mentioned will not effect this products performance and HELLA are offering a full 5 year warranty.

Less metal also means less weight: The  HELLA Barhawk LED light bar with thermally conductive plastic are up to 60% lighter than comparable metal bodied lamps. The much lower mass significantly reduces the stress on mounting points in high vibration and shock applications.

A Lamp housing made from thermally conductive plastic works much the same as the previously used metal housings. The world leading and innovative ceramic based plastic transfers the heat generated by the LED’s and drive electronic to the outside of the lamp body, thereby lowering the internal thermal stress on the component. This in turn ensures a long service life with minimal degradation of the LED’s.  HELLA use CoolPoly® for thermally conductive lamp housings, which is some 30 times more conductive than conventional plastic.  This is truly cutting edge technology.  Most other light bars use a powder coated metallic/aluminum housing.  In short they will corrode over time and break down.

HELLA SEA HAWK-XLB

Hella marine have improved the popular Sea Hawk-XLB floodlights with an easy to install new bracket assembly. It simply clips onto the ends of the light bar and can be mounted upright or pendant to accommodate most applications. Nuts, bolts and mounting brackets are made from marine grade 316 stainless steel

Brighter and more efficient!

The new XLB floodlights generate over 2200 lumens of crisp, white light to illuminate the hardest to see places while continuing the durability and efficiency advantages accustomed to the proven Sea Hawk range.

Three Engineered light patterns

Advanced optical systems deliver incredible illumination without glare. Spread lamps illuminate  a wide, close-range spread over a cockpit, foredeck or working area. Spot lamps provide a more concentrated illumination for tuna towers, yacht masts or forward facing lighting on a variety of applications. New Pencil Beam lamps have a narrower 5o light angle and are ideal for locating buoys, moorings and other objects over longer distances.

Unique Corrosion Proof Housing

Sea Hawk-XLB housings are precision injection moulded from thermally conductive ceramic polymer. This advanced material draws heat from internal electronics for reliable long-term operation and eliminates the need for an aluminium housing removing corrosion risks in the harsh marine environment.

Integrated *Dual Outputs

High output (2200 Lumens / 25W) and low light

(220 lumens / 5W) intensity functions in both Spread and Spot lamps. * Not available in Pencil Beam lamps.

Multivolt 9-33V DC

At sea, advanced electronics ensure constant and reliable light output and lamp protection even under difficult conditions such as severe voltage fluctuations and low battery voltages.

Pre-wired with marine cable

High quality tinned cable assemblies mean time saving and completely sealed installations.

Designed and manufactured in New Zealand

Designed by some of the leading engineers in this field in the world, they will last and perform in the most harsh conditions the mighty oceans can through at it.

All Sea Hawk lamps carry a 5 year warranty.
